Yet another successfully completed Erasmus+ project: “Happy Cow, Happy Society” (2018-2-DE04-KA125-016876).
“Happy Cow, Happy Society” is an EVS (European Volunteering Services) project, which emphasized the fact that happier animals constitute a happier community, and, eventually, a happier society. With this project we wanted to bring attention to and educate the public of the importance of animal care, especially cows, as an essential part of an Eco-friendly community, aiming towards self-sustainability. Our organization hosted one volunteer – Modestas from Lithuania. Modestas shares his experience as a volunteer at our organization: ‘Possibility to become a volunteer in this EVS project allowed for me to experience what I have never experienced before: Eco-farming based on cow protection, multi-national community with eagerness to make You a part of it immediately, unique nature and unimaginably close friends. While participating in the project I developed skills to communicate in German and English languages. I also experienced various aspects of different culture and found myself completely absorbed in the Eco-farming activities. Thank you so much for the opportunity to be a part of this amazing community and amazing project!’
