We have just successfully completed an Erasmus+ project Live Healthy, Be Happy (2017-3-DE04-KA105-015949). Live Healthy, Be Happy is an EVS (European Volunteering Services) project that focused on the fact that healthy living and one’s happiness are strongly connected. With this project we wanted to voice our desire to care for our needs as four-dimensional human beings with physical, intellectual, social and spiritual need and to care for our planet, providing EVS experience for volunteers oriented like-wise. Our organisation hosted 1 volunteer – Monika – from Lithuania.
Monika recalls: ‘I wanted to be a volunteer here in order to have a possibility to develop my expertise in fields of volunteering, youth exchanges, intercultural and interreligious communication. During this 1 year I learned a great deal not only professionally, but also personally. I got exposed to multicultural and multi-ethnic environment, meeting people from all over the world and making new life-long friendships. I think this has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had so far. Thank you so much to everyone who made this project possible!’
