From July 26 to August 1, we had the pleasure of welcoming an inspiring couple to Simhachalam: Kaunteya Prabhu and his wife Sri Radha Govinda Mataji, who left a lasting impression on our community through their profound insights and warm presence.

Kaunteya Prabhu – Bridge-Builder, Teacher, Visionary

As a longtime ISKCON devotee, international preacher, and trained sociologist, Kaunteya Prabhu has dedicated himself to developing structures for sustainable spiritual growth. His lectures on “Principles of Community Building,” “Ritvikism” and “Neo-smartas” sparked deep reflection – not only among temple leaders, but for all who wish to contribute meaningfully to a spiritual community.

He emphasized how we can carry forward Srila Prabhupada’s mission with authenticity – guided by integrity, teamwork, and a sensitive understanding of contemporary challenges. His deep connection to the scriptures and his strategic mindset made each session a rich training for both heart and intellect.

Sri Radha Govinda Mataji – Astrologer, Mentor & Bridge Between Worlds

A special highlight of the visit was the contribution of Sri Radha Govinda Mataji, who made the topic of Astrology in Krishna Consciousness accessible through her lectures and personal consultations. With great empathy, she helped devotees dive into their life journeys – not as a fixed destiny, but as an invitation to conscious, spiritual development.

In her talks, she spoke about the deeper spiritual meaning of Jyotish, the workings of karma, and how Vedic astrology can help us deepen our relationship with Krishna. Many devotees found her chart readings to be healing and clarifying – especially during personal challenges and transitions.

Depth & Relevance – Topics That Matter

Alongside practical leadership themes and astrological insights, important social topics were addressed. In his lecture series on “Vaisnavi Diksha Gurus in ISKCON,” Kaunteya Prabhu explored the role of female spiritual teachers in Srila Prabhupada’s legacy – a topic that sparked appreciation and engagement.

His honest, thoughtful, and well-grounded approach to such sensitive subjects was both refreshing and inspiring.

Thank You – And See You Again!

We offer our heartfelt gratitude to Kaunteya Prabhu and Sri Radha Govinda Mataji for their visit, their wisdom, and the warmth they brought to Simhachalam. It was an honor and joy to have you with us – and we look forward to your return.
